Speaking of our Safari Directors and Guide-Drivers, they are by far the best in East Africa not just for their knowledge and understanding of the flora and fauna but as affable travelling companions. And, we deliberately refer to our Guide-Drivers as just that as they are professional guides who can drive rather than a Driver who ‘tries’ to fill the role of a Guide. This is more apparent when vehicles are subcontracted from other transport providers – it certainly saves on costs but compromises on quality. Personally handpicked by Minaz Manji our Safari Directors and Guide-Drivers must have a minimum bronze level qualification as well as undergo an intensive in-house training programme unique to Twiga Tours before being accepted into the mainstream of the Company.
